Derwent Group secures M&S at Walkden

The Derwent Group has agreed terms with M&S at its 160,000 sq ft Walkden Town Centre Retail Park development.

M&S has agreed to take a 15-year lease on 15,620 sq ft comprising 10,620 sq ft at ground floor level and 5,000 sq ft at mezzanine for food retail. M&S has taken unit G1A, which is a corner unit on the Retail Park adjacent to recently opened Guess How Much and Quality Save which will be opening in January, a 17,000 sq ft Aldi store complements the line up on the M&S terrace. Walkden Town Centre is already home to brands such as Tesco, Poundland, Boots, B&M, Pets at Home, Costa Coffee, McDonalds, JD Sports, Subway, and KFC.
