JLL targets hospitality deals with hire; Transwestern expands finance team in Minnesota; SRS grows capital markets group
Chad Eschmeyer joined JLL in San Francisco as an executive director, focused on hotel and hospitality valuations in the Western and Southwestern regions. The brokerage said Eschmeyer, with 25 years of industry experience, works in its value and risk advisory practice.
Eschmeyer joined JLL after working for nearly eight years at Newmark, where he served as a senior vice president in valuation and advisory services. Before that, he held roles at Colliers and Lyons Valuation Group. At JLL, he will report to Charlotte Kang, managing director and head of value and risk advisory services focused on hotels and hospitality, the firm said.
Transwestern Real Estate Services appointed Kate Gillette as senior vice president, expanding the firm’s capital markets and asset strategies group in Minneapolis. Gillette, a 17-year industry veteran, previously worked at Avison Young as a senior vice president in Minnesota.
John Darrow joined SRS Real Estate Partners as an executive vice president and managing principal in Dallas, where he will lead debt and equity services in the firm’s capital markets group. Darrow, who previously served as principal and managing director at Slatt Capital, has closed more than 500 transactions in 35 states.
New hires, promotions and other personnel changes

Atlanta-based development and investment firm Parkside Partners added Caroline Sexton, who has over 15 years of industry experience, as vice president of property management. It also promoted Teresa McDonald to the role of property manager.
Vanesa Rodriguez, who has more than 17 years of industry experience, joined Colliers as associate vice president of retail services in Central Florida, based in Orlando after previously working as senior director for retail advisory firm Katz & Associates.
Stream Realty Partners bolstered its Denver office with the addition of Billy Byrne and Lindsay Brown, who the firm said will lead its regional operations as executive managing directors and partners after previously launching the Denver office of brokerage Hughes Marino.

Kast Construction promoted 25-year industry veteran Sean Ouellette to president, after he previously served as chief operating officer for the West Palm Beach, Florida-based construction management firm.
Atlanta-based investment and development firm Ridgeline Property Group named Michael Nelligan as a partner to direct its Chicago operations, after he held prior roles at firms such as Trammell Crow Co., Duke Realty, JLL and EQT Exeter during his 30-year career.
Las Vegas-based property management and brokerage firm MDL Group entered the Salt Lake City market with the hiring of Courtney Yuhas as senior property manager and Aaron Silverman as director of strategic growth, joining Myles Johnson as MDL’s Utah broker of record.
