JLL appointed Paul Morgan as chief operating officer, and he joined the firm’s global executive board in the process. The newly created position is designed to aid in the execution of the commercial real estate services provider’s Accelerate 2030 strategic plan and centralize its enterprisewide operational experience into a singular global operations function, JLL said.
Morgan, who joined JLL in 2016, previously served as COO of its Real Estate Management Services group. He has also served as CEO of JLL Workplace Management, a role with oversight of a group that encompasses over 53,000 professionals in 80 countries responsible for delivering facilities management services. Morgan reports directly to JLL President and CEO Christian Ulbrich.
Savills promoted Ryan Walsh to executive vice president and global head of transaction management and account operations within its Global Occupier Services business. Based in New York, Walsh will oversee transaction and account operations across the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa, or EMEA, regions, Savills said. He will be responsible for driving consistency and alignment across the firm's global occupier platform. Walsh, who has nearly 25 years of commercial real estate experience, joined Savills in 2021.
The promotion is part of a broader leadership reshuffle that saw Soufian Alsabbagh in New York elevated to senior vice president of global enterprise solutions, and London-based Kelly McGarvey moved up to global head of strategic consulting as the firm invests in growing Global Occupier Services.
Denise Dexter joined CBRE as senior managing director and Charlotte, North Carolina, market leader, succeeding Brett Gray, who recently took on an expanded role as executive managing director for Atlanta, where he now works, and the Carolinas. Based in Charlotte, Dexter will oversee CBRE's advisory businesses across leasing, investment sales, valuations and debt and structured finance while leading its growth strategy in the market, the firm said. Having joined CBRE from JLL, she brings 25 years of experience to her new role.
Alex Durham returned to Stream Realty Partners, this time as managing director of office tenant representation in Charlotte, where he will lead the firm's tenant advisory practice across the Carolinas. Durham joined Stream from JLL, bringing 12 years of experience, a specialization in corporate office tenant representation and a resume that includes more than 450 transactions valued at more than $1 billion.
Greg Pearson was named chief investment officer at Outpost, a truck terminal owner and operator. A veteran of Fortress Investment Group, Pearson joined Outpost to lead the firm’s real estate investment strategy, logistics infrastructure acquisitions and leasing efforts, the firm said. In his prior role, he launched Fortress’ industrial real estate business across North America and Europe. He also worked at CenterPoint, Exeter and CBRE Capital Markets, and helped close more than $5 billion in industrial investments focused on transportation and logistics.
Albert Sultan, executive vice president at New York-based KSR, has been picked to lead the firm's newly launched office leasing division as the company expands beyond its traditional retail brokerage focus, the firm said. Joining him in the new division are recent KSR hires Michael Gammal, who joined as a managing director, and Avery Reavill, who serves as a senior director and provides landlord and tenant representation across New York City. The division has already secured leasing assignments at 645 Madison Ave., 350 Lexington Ave., 9 Times Square and 625 Broadway, KSR said.
Southern Land Co., or SLC, has announced a swathe of promotions, with New York-based leaders Alex Cauchon, Carly Catalana, Kevin Wilson and Matt Ritsko taking on expanded roles at the firm. Cauchon now leads Southern Land's new hospitality division as executive vice president; Catalana was appointed senior vice president and co-head of marketing and branding; Wilson moved up to senior vice president and co-head of marketing and strategy; and Ritsko was promoted to president of construction. All four bring decades of experience, with each leading functions that support SLC projects and communities across the country.
