It is no secret that Amazon has been rapidly expanding its warehouse footprint across Canada and elsewhere, spurred on by the rise in online orders during the COVID pandemic. However, as pandemic lockdowns receded in early 2022, Amazon announced it would be subletting some of its space, implying that it had expanded its footprint too much too fast.
