CBRE expands Salt Lake City team
Jillian Johnson Hanks joined the Salt Lake City office of CBRE as vice president. The real estate services firm said she will specialize in office leasing advisory and related transaction services as CBRE works to grow its presence in the region. Hanks joined CBRE from JLL, where she served as vice president in the Salt Lake region. She held earlier roles at MRM-McCann and Insight Exhibits.
Hanks has worked for real estate clients including landlords and developers in the Salt Lake City area, advising on projects such as property conversions, expansions and ground-up developments. She has also worked for corporate clients undertaking Utah expansion, including engineering, technology, legal, consumer product and financial service firms.
Northmarq pursues restaurant business with new hire

Northmarq added Will Pural as senior vice president within its National Restaurant Group. The brokerage said Pural is based in its San Diego office and will focus on advisory and transactional services for net-leased properties nationwide, primarily in the restaurant industry. A 15-year real estate veteran, Pural previously served as senior vice president of investments at CIRE Partners, where he closed more than 300 transactions valued at over $2 billion.
Northmarq also said Dave Howard joined the firm’s Richmond, Virginia, office as senior vice president of debt and equity. The company said Howard will source financing capital across all commercial real estate categories, as Northmarq looks to expand business in the region. He has 40 years of experience in traditional and commercial mortgage banking, serving previously as the Richmond regional executive at Citizens and Farmers Bank.
Transwestern looks to grow in Austin
Carly Langley joined Transwestern Real Estate Services as vice president in Austin, Texas, as the firm seeks to expand regional business development. The company said Langley will be part of the office agency leasing team in Austin. She held prior roles at Karlin Real Estate and workplace services firm Work&. Her previous work includes helping launch the first WeWork locations in Texas and other regions in the South. She also led regional sales for a hospitality firm and oversaw business development for a regional owner-developer.
Crow Holdings taps investment management director

Paul Mouchakkaa joined investment and development firm Crow Holdings as a senior managing director in its Crow Holdings Capital division. The Dallas-based company said Mouchakkaa will focus on the firm’s Build-to-Core and Core+ investment programs. He served most recently as head of real estate for Alberta Investment Management Corp., where he oversaw a global portfolio valued around $30 billion.
The 25-year real estate veteran worked earlier as managing partner and head of Canada investment management for BentallGreenOak, now known as BGO. Before that, he served in executive roles at California Public Employees’ Retirement System, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing and Pension Consulting Alliance.
Bradford Allen names brokerage service president

Bradford Allen named Ben Azulay as president of brokerage services. He's based at the real estate service firm’s Chicago headquarters office. The company said Azulay will focus on expanding its tenant and landlord representation business for office, retail and industrial properties nationwide.
The 21-year industry veteran joined Bradford Allen in 2004 as an associate and was promoted to managing director, senior managing director and principal before becoming president. His prior work includes helping Grubhub expand its Chicago office footprint. He has completed more than 100 transactions nationwide for corporate clients such as MedSpeed, Northwestern Mutual and D4 Solutions, along with several nonprofit organizations.
