In 2024, Intuit, the Fortune 500 tech company behind widely used products such as QuickBooks and TurboTax, announced it was cutting 10% of its workforce, or 1,800 people. Like many other tech companies, Intuit was embarking on a period of massive change as it transitioned to embrace the opportunities of artificial intelligence.
