U.S. tourism is crucial for Canada's economy. In 2024, U.S. tourists visiting Canada numbered over 14 million, more than double the levels of all other international tourists combined and the highest number since 2016. Increasing tourist arrivals is vital to the country’s hospitality sector because of the large economic impact U.S. visitors have on Canada's hotel sector.
