JLL expands DC valuation team; Affordable housing developer adds Dallas executive; Architecture firm HKS names data chief 

JLL added Jane Diven as an executive director in its Washington, D.C., office as part an ongoing national expansion of its value and risk advisory services. Diven will focus on institutional office, retail and mixed-use property valuations and partner with Executive Director Todd Canterbury, JLL said.

Diven has more than 25 years of industry experience, having most recently served as an executive vice president at Newmark. She began appraisal work at the national level with CBRE before moving to Cushman & Wakefield to focus on office properties.

Affordable housing developer Ulysses Development Group named Kathryn Saar as regional vice president of development in its Dallas office as the company expands its Texas portfolio. Saar, a 20-year housing industry veteran, held prior roles at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and firms such as Brownstone Group and Leslie Holleman & Associates. Denver-based UDG owns more than 2,200 apartments in five states and plans to build or preserve 2,000 more by the end of 2026, a company statement said.

Global architecture firm HKS said it named Tyler Goss as chief data and digital officer and principal, as part of efforts to increase its technology-enabled services. He is based in the San Francisco Bay area. Goss has several years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction, portfolio management and software design. He worked previously at firms including AECOM, Disney and Turner Construction.

Retail brokerage and advisory Katz & Associates expanded its East Coast operations with the opening of an office in Jacksonville, Florida, led by vice presidents Katy Figg and Nancy Sumner. Figg and Sumner previously served as vice presidents at Colliers. New Jersey-based Katz also hired Michael Zimmerman as senior vice president of investment sales. Zimmerman is a former vice president at Northmarq, with prior work at firms including Atlantic Retail Properties.

Welltower, a Toledo, Ohio-based investment and development giant focused on healthcare and senior housing properties, appointed former Extra Space Storage executive Jeff Stott as its chief technology officer. The company said it also promoted several executives to executive vice president roles after they had served as senior vice presidents. They are Andrew Cohen and Patrick Keppenne in investments, Matthew Carrus and Krishna Soma in corporate finance and Russ Simon in operations.

Cushman & Wakefield|The Lund Co. added Tyler Cullor as an associate in Lincoln, Nebraska, to increase services in the region. Cushman & Wakefield|The Lund Co. represents clients with more than 8 million square feet of properties in the Omaha region, where the firm employs more than 300 people, according to a statement.

Katie Nuñez joined Chicago-based brokerage firm Kiser Group as a director, focused on multifamily investment sales across the Midwest region. Nuñez has worked in multifamily brokerage since 2023, closing more than $30 million in transactions in prior roles at firms including AJ Commercial Group and Ellsbury Commercial Group.

Troy, Michigan-based brokerage L. Mason Capitani Corfac International promoted Robert Gojcaj to vice president in its office properties division. Gojcaj previously served as a sales associate at the firm, with prior work at Liberty Property & Asset Management.

Architecture and design firm Dahlin expanded its office in Austin, Texas, with the appointment of industry veterans Mark Lakins as director of project development and Gregg Taylerson as director of design. Lakins served in prior project management roles at firms including Market Square Architects and KRDB, and Taylerson led projects at DTJ Design, among other firms.
