The Georgia Apartment Association has picked an industry veteran with more than three decades of experience as the newest member of its Hall of Fame, which recognizes individuals for their contributions to the state's multifamily industry.

Virginia Love, an industry principal at property management software company Entrata, officially will be inducted into the association's Hall of Fame at its annual meeting set for Sept. 3-5 in Savannah, Georgia.

Love started her career as a leasing consultant at Trammell Crow Residential and worked her way up to vice president of leasing and marketing at Waterton, where she worked for more than a dozen years. She joined Entrata in 2019. In May, she shared news on LinkedIn of Blackstone's $200 million investment in Entrata that she said would enable Entrata "to accelerate innovation and growth in multifamily technology."

The Georgia Apartment Association says its members' apartment complexes and their residents contribute more than $100 billion to the state economy annually and support 523,000 jobs.
