The 2022 edition of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors' Brokerfest event raised a record amount of money to donate to a pair of charitable organizations.

The fundraising event, led by Dallas Smith, of T. Dallas Smith and Co., and Bridget Massengill of Leapley Construction, will donate approximately $107,000 to be split between the Scott Selig Scholarship Fund at Camp Twin Lakes and the Atlanta Realtors Education Foundation, the commercial board said in a blog post.

Brokerfest took place last month at Bridge Investment Group's Lenox Park complex in Brookhaven, Georgia. The event drew more than 400 people, Bridge said in a LinkedIn post: "Our team and guests enjoyed a fabulous night of networking made even more special by being able to give back to such an important cause in our community."

In addition to networking, brokers and others in attendance played games like Skee-Ball and enjoyed drinks on a cool fall evening, the commercial board said. The event also featured baseball, live music and some people in Halloween costumes including Nate Turner of Office Creations furniture company, who donned a hot dog suit.

While Bridge Investment was the event's championship venue sponsor, Franklin Street was its championship presenting sponsor for the second straight year.
