Radisson Hotel Group has opened the 260-room Radisson Red Madrid, a debut for the brand in Spain; it contains three food-and-beverage outlets by chef Eneko Atxa, who has five Michelin stars.

IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to open in 2025 the Six Senses brand's first African hotel south of the Sahara, the Six Senses Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, which will have 27 lodges.

Hyatt Hotel Corporation has debuted its Hyatt Place brand in Poland with the 216-room Hyatt Place Krakow.

New hotel firm and brand Faern is set to open its first hotels in December, the 126-room Faern Arosa Altein and 134-room Faern Crans-Montana Valaisia, both ski resorts in the Swiss Alps. There are a further two hotels in its pipeline.

Accor brand Mama Shelter has announced three new hotels to open in 2023. In March and June, respectively, it will open the 119-room Mama Shelter Rennes and 120-room Mama Shelter Dijon, the brand’s 17th and 18th hotels in France. By the end of 2023 the 197-room Mama Shelter Dubai is expected to open, marking the brand's debut in the Middle East.

Zleep Hotels, part of Deutsche Hospitality, on Nov. 1 opened its 15th hotel in its home market of Denmark, the 109-room Zleep Hotel Vejle on the east coast of the country’s mainland region of Jutland.

IHG has signed a management agreement with the Dana Bay Tourism Co. to open in December 2024 the InterContinental Al Khobar Dana Bay, which is to have 133 rooms, 36 villas and 90 residences.

Spanish real estate investment trust Millenium Hospitality Real Estate has bought the 109-room Iberostar Las Letras in Madrid for 70 million euros ($68.4 million).

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and owner Gruppo Statuto will open the 70-room Rosewood Milan, its fourth hotel in Italy, in 2025. It will occupy two palaces, Palazzo Branca and Palazzo della Banca Commerciale.
