JLL named Managing Director Nina Harlow as head of its energy and logistics practice, which is part of its industrials division. The company said Harlow, based in Chicago, will lead global teams focused on services such as workplace and occupancy management for JLL’s clients in industries including oil and gas, utilities, rail services and third-party logistics.
Harlow’s career includes 18 years of leadership roles at JLL, serving most recently as the firm’s workplace management lead in the industrials practice. The promotion “comes at a critical time for the energy sector, which faces unprecedented infrastructure demands driven by advanced technology expansion," the company said.
CBRE promoted Jenny Knowlton, Charley Will and Chad Flynn to serve as executive vice presidents in its Denver office, after working previously as senior vice presidents. The firm said the trio leads a six-person Denver team and are part of CBRE’s national office partners group. Knowlton, Will and Flynn joined CBRE in 2014 and have completed multiple transactions throughout Colorado, Arizona, Utah and the broader Rocky Mountain region. All three held earlier roles at Cushman & Wakefield.
In Atlanta, CBRE said 25-year veteran broker Brian Linnihan joined its national partners team as vice chairman, as the company seeks to bolster its services in industrial and logistics property investment sales in the Southeast. Linnihan joined CBRE in 2022 and previously co-led its debt and structured finance team in Atlanta. Before that, he served in executive roles at Cushman & Wakefield.
SRS Real Estate Partners said it added Nathan Demosthenes, Matt Peters and Brody Shemansky to its Newport Beach, California, office as it expands its industrial property services in Southern California. The Dallas-based company said Demosthenes and Peters joined the firm as vice presidents and Shemansky as an associate. Demosthenes and Shemansky worked previously at Cushman & Wakefield, and Peters joined SRS from Voit Real Estate Services.
Trammell Crow Residential, one of the nation’s largest multifamily developers, said it hired Tom Lewis to lead its new Phoenix office and Peter Davis to head a new office in Nashville, Tennessee, both serving as managing directors. Lewis has led large-scale multifamily projects across the Southwest in a career spanning more than a decade. Dallas-based TCR said Davis will lead its planned growth across Middle Tennessee after prior work at firms such as Elmington and WRS.
Ryan Cos. hired Nathan Golik as president of its South Central region that's based in Dallas. The Minneapolis-based company said Golik will oversee real estate development and construction efforts in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. He worked most recently as an executive vice president at NexCore Group.
Ian Symington joined Lion Real Estate Group as a vice president and head of acquisitions in Nashville, Tennessee. Symington brings more than a decade of multifamily investment and transaction experience, joining Lion after serving as director of investments at Covenant Capital Group.
Atlanta-based multifamily development and investment firm ECI Group said it added Joseph King to its board of managers, where he will also serve as chairman of the company’s audit committee. King is a retired former senior partner at Ernst & Young, where he worked for nearly 40 years.
Retail real estate brokerage Katz & Associates promoted Holly Buchanan, who leads its Nashville office, to senior vice president, and elevated Ashley Cusker to director in Nashville. The New Jersey-based firm said it also promoted Michael Peguero and Sean Philipps to senior director roles in its New York City office, and Allan Carlisle to senior director in its Boca Raton, Florida, office.
