UTI Relocating to Max at Kierland in Scottsdale

Education Provider To Move Headquarters

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (UTI) signed a lease for 78,439 square feet at Max at Kierland in Scottsdale to relocate its headquarters. UTI, a nationwide provider of technical education training for students seeking careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians, will occupy space on the first and fifth floors. UTI's current headquarters is located at 20410 N. 19th Ave. in Phoenix. Located at 16220 N. Scottsdale Road, Max at Kierland is a six-story, 257,476-square-foot Class A office building that delivered in 2008. The property was awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2009. Jim Sadler and Keith Lammersen of Jones Lang LaSalle represented UTI, while Jerry Noble, Patrick Devine, and Greg Mayer of CB Richard Ellis represented the ownership group, a joint venture between Trammell Crow Company and ING Clarion.
