Pebblebrook Hotel Trust closed on its purchase of the Monaco Washington, DC hotel from Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group LLC for $74 million, or nearly $404,372 per room. Pebblebrook assumed a $35 million secured loan and used $39 million gained from its initial public offering to fund the acquisition. Kimpton will continue to manage the property.
