A development company founded by former presidential candidate billionaire Ross Perot is underway on a new project seeking technology and life sciences tenants in Alameda, California, which would be the first significant industrial development to occur in the East Bay city for more than a decade and help build the area’s industrial inventory back up after the demolition of more than a half-million square feet of real estate seven years ago.
