Boise, Idaho’s unemployment rate rose slightly between December 2022 and early 2023, coming in at 2.8% on a non-seasonally adjusted basis, according to a recent release from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Nevertheless, January’s employment numbers marked the second time in as many years that labor market conditions in the Treasure Valley have tightened.
