Developer Rockefeller Group broke ground Monday on a new $42 million distribution center for General Mills in Social Circle, GA, outside of Atlanta. The 1.51 million-square-foot build-to-suit facility is scheduled to deliver by spring of next year. General Mills, the Minneapolis-based foods company which owns consumer brands like Cheerios, Pillsbury and Häagen-Dazs, said the facility would lead to the creation of more than 100 jobs.
