To say that retail has been in a tough spot through most of 2020 would be an understatement. More than 40 retailers have filed for bankruptcy at a national level this year. Even retailers that have held on this far into the crisis are closing stores. Many are focusing on reducing overhead to stay afloat as the pandemic drags on.
