Effective Jan. 1, Steven B. Tanger will be named president and chief executive officer of Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, the publicly traded retail REIT. The appointment was made at the behest of current CEO and company founder Stanley K. Tanger, who will stay on as chairman of the board.
