Andy Poppink, JLL's markets chief executive, Europe, Middle East and Africa talks about being what he learned from Europe's different markets as an American.

Poppink was in Silicon Valley as the run on the Silicon Valley Bank began and he talks about what it was like to be at the epicentre of the crisis.

He also talks about attracting, rather than mandating, people to return to the office.

He has been promoted to CEO, markets advisory, for the global business, as of 1 July.
