Fifteen Years on From the Opening of Liverpool One and It's the Same But Different

On the face of it, Liverpool One is just like all the other leading retail and leisure destinations in the UK. It has lots of shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars, an increasing proportion of space dedicated to leisure and competitive socialising, and a sizeable element of public realm. Remove "Liverpool ONE" from the header, and it could be almost anywhere in the UK, be it in a city centre or out-of-town.
