US hotel hires and promotions: StepStone Hospitality hires chief development officer

Keck has been promoted to vice president, people and culture — field operations at Davidson Hospitality Group. He was promoted to senior director of human resources in 2024. During his tenure, he was instrumental in driving a HRIS rollout and adoption across the enterprise after a successful transition and was a critical partner in the creation and rollout of a companywide payroll SOP.

Miller has been appointed as chief development officer at StepStone Hospitality. He brings decades of hospitality experience, most recently serving as vice president of business development at Aimbridge Hospitality, where he negotiated management agreements for more than 30 properties.

Beadle has been appointed as general manager of the Seacliff Inn Aptos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in California. She joins Seacliff Inn following seven years with Evolution Hospitality, where she most recently served as general manager of Hayes Mansion, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Benson has been appointed as general manager of the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas in San Antonio, Texas. He has served in general manager roles at the Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa, Park Hyatt Washington, Hyatt Regency Long Beach, Hana-Maui Resort and Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa.

Hargrove has been appointed as general manager of Marriott's Waikiki Collection, including the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach. Most recently, he served as general manager of The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Kaanapali, where he guided the renowned resort through a period of continued growth and guest experience excellence.

Mannon has been appointed as general manager of the Kimpton Ashbel New York-Park Avenue in New York City. Most recently, he served as general manager of Sheraton Brooklyn New York, where he led all aspects of hotel operations, revenue performance, financial management and team development for three years before returning to the brand where his hospitality career began.

Massengale has been appointed as general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Jersey City in New Jersey. With more than 20 years of hospitality leadership experience, including 12 years with Hilton, Massengale has extensive expertise in hotel operations, food-and-beverage management, revenue strategy and talent development. Most recently, he served as general manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany.

McClafferty has been appointed as general manager of The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club in Aurora, Colorado. He brings 21 years of hospitality experience, much of it built with QT Hotels and Resorts in Australia, where he rose from front-office management to director of rooms and ultimately general manager, leading operations at flagship properties including QT Sydney, QT Bondi and QT Queenstown.

Rechtermann has been appointed as general manager of the Sonesta White Plains Downtown in White Plains, New York. He brings more than 30 years of hospitality leadership experience, primarily in the luxury hotel segment, with an extensive background in hotel operations and management. Most recently, he served as general manager of The Crescent Hotel, Fort Worth.

Dutton has been appointed as director of sales and marketing at The Ben West Palm Beach in Florida. Prior to joining The Ben, he served as director of sales and marketing at The Belgrove Resort & Spa in West Palm Beach.

Isenberg has been appointed as director of sales of The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club in Aurora, Colorado. She brings 13 years of hospitality experience and she previously served as senior sales manager at the Marriott Denver Tech Center.

Joseph has been appointed as catering sales manager at The Goodtime Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Throughout her career, she has planned weddings, corporate functions, large-scale festivals and community events while building lasting client relationships.

Swenson has been appointed as area director of marketing for Sage Hospitality Group. She brings 19 years of hospitality experience, including marketing leadership roles at New Waterloo, where she served as corporate director of marketing, and multiple positions with Sage Hospitality Group, including director of marketing and area director of community relations and marketing.

Belkodi has been appointed as executive sous chef at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa in Florida. His experience includes six years with Meliá Hotels International, four years with the Novikov Group and three years at Walt Disney World Resort, giving him a diverse perspective across global hospitality environments.

Buckley has been appointed as executive chef of the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina. He began his professional journey at age 19 as a dishwasher in Lake Tahoe before attending culinary school. He quickly sharpened his skills at San Diego’s The Fishery.

Dimoudis has been appointed as chef de cuisine of The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Florida. He joins The St. Regis Bal Harbour following a successful tenure as head chef at The Ritz-Carlton Doha, where he led multiple high-volume luxury outlets.

Gabos has been appointed as corporate director of food and beverage at Salamander Collection. He joins Salamander Collection from The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, where he most recently served as director of food and beverage.

Hasbani has been appointed as director of food and beverage at Eau Resort & Spa in Palm Beach, Florida. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions with some of the world's most recognized hospitality brands, including The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, Conrad New York Midtown and The New York Palace.

Lezama has been appointed as beverage director at Eau Resort & Spa in Palm Beach, Florida. Throughout his career, he has honed his expertise across a range of luxury hotels and hospitality brands, including Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, The Ray Hotel Delray Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton, Live! Dining & Entertainment Districts and Gale Hotel Miami.

Scully has been promoted to executive chef of The Westin Nashville in Tennessee. He brings more than a decade of experience leading culinary operations within luxury hotels and high-volume food-and-beverage environments and previously served as executive sous chef.

Ashford has been promoted to hotel manager at The Westin Nashville in Tennessee. He steps into the role of hotel manager after nearly a decade with The Westin Nashville, where he most recently served as director of operations.
