Colliers’ project and building consultancy team in Scotland has gained a director from London.

Andy Holtby, originally from Scotland, will relocate to Edinburgh having spent 11 years in London, working with key clients such as Aberdeen, L&G and Shaftesbury Capital.

His move back to Scotland comes after Colliers hired senior surveyor Alan McIntosh and graduate surveyor Benji Travis.

The firm said Holtby would use his experience to form part of the Scotland PBC team’s leadership group, which is responsible for "growing market share and providing the full suite of project and building consultancy services to clients".

It added that McIntosh, who specialises in building surveying, will be responsible for working with the team to "deliver on recent business wins". The moves take the team to 10 across Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Holtby said in a statement: "I’m thrilled to be returning to Scotland and have become increasingly involved with the team here over the past two years. I am excited to delve in to the Scottish markets, reconnect with peers, friends and family.

"The team in Scotland has a great reputation and I look forward to collaborating with them to strengthen existing client relationships and to build new ones."
