Recent Population Release Shows Portland and Seattle Moving in Opposite Directions

The Seattle metropolitan area outpaced other major gateways across the Pacific Northwest in terms of population gains, according to a recently released report by the U.S. Census Bureau. The Portland metropolitan area, meanwhile, saw a net loss in population and significantly underperformed the rest of the Pacific Northwest.
