Universe Holdings, a Los Angeles-based investment, management and development firm, has purchased the Serena Vista apartment complex at 5810 Amaya Drive in San Diego's La Mesa submarket from an affiliate of Cirrus Asset Management for $34.5 million, or about $313,000 per unit.
