Durable Packaging International, a company that manufactures aluminum foil products for retail and food service applications, purchased the building at 250 Carpenter Ave. in Wheeling, IL, for a sum of $4.2 million, or about $39.50 per square foot. The deal is an expansion for Durable Packaging, which will continue to operate out of its current headquarters at 750 Northgate Parkway in Wheeling.
