In a city that currently has the highest office vacancy rate in the nation, downtown Houston has welcomed 2.4 million square feet of new office development since 2016, with 95% of it being high-end five-star space. This includes Hines' 609 Main and Hilcorp Energy Tower, Skanska's Bank of America Tower and Houston First Corp.'s Partnership Tower.
