Nuveen, one of the most active investors in the Orange County apartment market, closed on its purchase of the 290-unit Amplifi in Fullerton, California, a high-end apartment building developed by Intracorp Homes earlier this year. The property’s price tag is a record for a single apartment complex in Orange County so far this year, selling for $168 million, or $579,000 per unit.
