Essity, a global hygiene and health products company based in Sweden, recently expanded its presence in North America with the acquisition of Edgewell Personal Care’s feminine care business. The sale included the Carefree, Stayfree, and o.b. brands, as well as global feminine care rights for the Playtex brand.
