CBRE expands investment team in Atlanta
Stuart Kenny joined CBRE's Atlanta office as part of the firm's capital markets group focused on institutional properties. In Atlanta, Kenny, a first vice president, will partner with Vice Chair Will Yowell and focus on portfolio and single-asset sales at the local, regional and national levels, CBRE said. Kenny will remain a member of the company’s National Office Partners, focused on office investments in 21 major U.S. markets, the firm said.
Kenny joined CBRE in 2018 and previously worked in CBRE's Washington, D.C., office, representing institutional and private investors in office acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to CBRE, he was a management consultant with PwC in New York City, advising Fortune 500 clients in a range of industries.
Trademark Property pursues retail business with new hire
Trademark Property Co. hired Sarah Uren as vice president of ancillary revenue, focused on specialty leasing. The Fort Worth, Texas-based investment and development firm said Uren will oversee short-term, experiential pop-ups and other leasing transactions across Trademark’s retail and mixed-use portfolio. Her work will include preparing holiday pop-up plans and filling retail center vacancies.
The 20-year retail industry veteran previously served as senior director of specialty leasing at Washington Prime Group, where she led a team of 12 managers across 17 properties nationwide. She held earlier roles at Spinoso Real Estate Group, DDR Corp. and General Growth Properties.
Kiser Group moves into senior housing deals
Multifamily brokerage Kiser Group launched a new senior housing division, bringing on industry veteran Mark Myers as a partner. Myers has 30 years of experience, closing more than 800 senior housing property transactions in 47 states, valued at more than $12 billion.
Previously, Myers served in executive roles at Walker & Dunlop and SVN Senior Living Advisors. Kiser principal and Managing Broker Lee Kiser said Myers’ hiring will allow the firm “to build the right team and platform” as it looks to expand its multifamily client base into the senior housing category.
Gilbane taps business development leader in Boston

Construction services provider Gilbane Building Co. appointed Laura Onessimo to the position of vice president of business development in its Boston office. Onessimo previously served as its vice president of global marketing and will now lead business growth efforts across Massachusetts and Northern New England, the Providence, Rhode Island-based company said.
She will be focused on clients in advanced manufacturing, science and technology, Gilbane said, as it grows its project slate in rapidly evolving industries.
Onessimo joined Gilbane in 2017, having handled business development duties before being tapped to serve as New England marketing director and later as vice president of global marketing. Before that, she held roles at Skanska USA and Anderson-Nichols.
Partner Valuation Advisors adds hospitality director

National appraisal services firm Partner Valuation Advisors added Adam Cline to its hospitality property team as a director in its Denver office. The Chicago-based company said Cline will focus on hotel appraisals, including limited service, full-service and luxury properties across the nation. He served most recently as an executive director for Cushman & Wakefield’s real estate valuation group. Before that, he worked for financial consulting firm, Stout.
With eight years of experience, Cline has completed appraisal and consulting assignments for a wide range of properties, with a focus on hospitality assets. Cline has represented clients in areas such as lending, estate planning and tax compliance, with work involving notable properties including River Run Resort in Colorado and the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago.
