Ozlem Soyturk joined Vast Coworking Group as the firm's new chief financial officer. In her new role, she will lead financial strategy, planning and analysis, working alongside operations to drive growth while supporting franchisees, strategic investments and execution, the firm said.
She brings more than 20 years of experience helping growth-oriented, private equity-backed organizations grow. She most recently served as CFO of Endeavor Schools, helping the organization expand from 34 to 110 locations across the country, and previously held various leadership roles at global consultancy firm PwC.
Joining her in the move is Chris Baszto as chief marketing officer. A coworking industry veteran, he previously worked at Industrious and helped expand the company to over 250 locations before its acquisition by real estate services firm CBRE. He will lead Vast's global marketing strategy, oversee brand development, demand generation, customer acquisition and franchise marketing, the firm said. Soyturk and Baszto join Vast following New State Capital Partners' acquisition of the company in March.
CBRE added Eric Jeremiah as a vice president within the firm’s Greater Boston suburban office brokerage team. In his new role, he will represent both tenants and landlords in suburban office leasing efforts throughout the region, the company said. He joins from Newmark, where he spent the past five years advising tenants and owners on suburban office and industrial leasing transactions.
Joseph Cooper joined Partners Real Estate as the commercial real estate firm’s newest equity partner on its Dallas-based industrial team. The broker responsible for 44 lease transactions totaling 1.2 million square feet, as well as 11 sales deals totaling $47.9 million, is moving from SRS Real Estate Partners, with associate Katrina Kieu joining him.
David Schreiber joined Baltimore-based developer Greenberg Gibbons as its new chief investment officer. Schreiber will lead investment and capital strategy, fund management, investor relations and financing activity, and work alongside development and asset management teams to optimize the firm’s portfolio. He brings over 20 years of experience to the newly created role after joining from Cullinan Properties.
Boston-based real estate investment and development company Foxfield added four new team members to the firm: Matt O'Connell, as director of asset management; Robert Werdann, as senior financial manager; Brandon Binsfield, as senior facility manager; and Charles Zigliara, as an acquisitions associate.
Kurv Industrial appointed Camilo Rios as the industrial real estate investment and operating firm’s new senior vice president of development for the Miami region. He will oversee the Chicago-based company’s development activities across the area, bringing over 20 years of experience to the position. He previously served as a senior vice president of development for McCraney Property Co.
Goulston & Storrs added Brian Grindall as a real estate group director in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Throughout his over 16-year career, Grindall has advised clients spanning the real estate industry and various asset classes. He previously served as general counsel to a national commercial real estate development company.
