Sunstone Acquires Quincy Marriott for $116M

Hotel Investor Adds Second Prominent Hotel in Boston Area This Year

Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. acquired the 464-room Marriott Boston Quincy Hotel for $116.6 million, or about $251,000 per room, from The Flatley Co. The deal includes an adjacent parcel of land for future development. The hotel was built in 2000 in Quincy, MA, located about 10 miles south of downtown Boston. It includes eight suites, 15,000 square feet of meeting space, a business center, swimming pool and health club, and Kilroy’s Irish Pub and Hancock’s Restaurant.
