Balaclava Holdings, a Canadian-based investment firm out of Vancouver, British Columbia, purchased the 284-unit San Tierra Luxury Apartments from a group of investors led by Frank S. Thorpe of Scottsdale for $34.3 million, or about $120,775 per unit.
