Inland Empire’s High-End Apartment Rents Fall In 2023

All classes combined, average asking rents for apartments in California’s Inland Empire ended 2023 at the same level they began the year with. Although demand in the market rebounded as the year progressed — from posting significant occupancy losses at the beginning to mild gains by the end — the return of stronger demand was not enough to push overall rent levels higher.
