Peakhill Capital, a Toronto-based commercial real estate asset manager that provides debt and equity financing to developers and investors, has expanded its reach into the United States market with the acquisition of Venture Commercial Mortgage, a firm that arranges permanent financing through life insurance companies and institutional lenders.
Acquiring Minneapolis-based Venture will enable Peakhill to offer more financing options, ranging from flexible bridge loans, joint venture equity and permanent financing to its clients across North America, Peakhill President and CEO Harley Gold said.
