Nearly six months after an unsolicited bid led it to begin a strategic review, office property owner Columbia Property Trust has agreed to be bought by investment management giant Pacific Investment Management Co. for $3.9 billion — offering a note of optimism to a property sector that has been battered by the pandemic.
