Multifamily rent growth in Charlotte, North Carolina, picked up momentum heading into the second half of 2021. Despite leading the nation in new deliveries as a percentage of inventory in the year ending after the first quarter of 2021, continued migration into Charlotte boosted demand throughout the market, lifting rents by 11.5% year over year.
