General Motors (NYSE:GM) finalized an agreement to sell a 78% stake in its dominant commercial real estate finance unit for $1.5 billion in cash to a consortium of private equity buyers led by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Five Mile Capital Partners and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.
