IKEA To Open Its 1st Florida Store in Broward County

Swedish Furnishings Retailer Picks Sunrise's Gateway at Sawgrass for 300,000-SF Property

IKEA will build its first Florida store in Broward County. The 300,000-square-foot store of the furnishings retailer will be part of Gateway at Sawgrass located in the city of Sunrise. It will be adjacent to 40,000 square feet dedicated to specialty retail shops and restaurants. Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corp. is planning the center, which is scheduled for completion in the summer of next year.
