Clockwise, the UK and Europe flexible workspace provider, has appointed Greg Miley as chief commercial officer.

Most recently, Miley was vice-president of strategy and growth at Desana, and he has had senior leadership roles at WeWork, The Instant Group and Kitt.

Clockwise said the creation of the CCO role reflects its "commitment to commercial excellence and customer-centric innovation".

He will focus on strengthening strategic partnerships, and growing Clockwise’s market presence in the UK and internationally.

Miley said in a statement: “At Clockwise, there has been a surge in demand for more localised and flexible workspace solutions. The offering is uniquely positioned to meet the demands of this new, agile working model, with a focus on regional and European growth, and thoughtfully designed environments that support both collaboration and wellbeing – it’s an exciting and pivotal time to join such a forward-thinking company.”

The announcement follows the recent appointment of Adam MacLeod as chief executive. MacLeod is a founding figure in the business as a partner at Castleforge, the private equity real estate fund that backs Clockwise.

“It’s a privilege to step into the role of CEO at a time when Clockwise is poised for such impactful growth,” said MacLeod. “As one of the original founders, I’m proud to continue connecting the business with its core purpose as we focus on transitioning to a phase of sustainable expansion underpinned by operational excellence. Greg’s appointment is an exciting next step in that journey – he brings unparalleled insight into the commercial and cultural direction of flexible workspaces.”

Clockwise said it is seeing an increase in demand from businesses of all sizes and sectors. Its latest launch is The Louise in Brussels, its second location in the city, following recent openings in The Hague, Bremen and Antwerp. The business plans to open 50-plus additional sites in the coming years.
