MOCAT Adjusters, an appraisal firm, signed a new lease for 5,000 square feet at 844 W. Guin Road in Nixa, Missouri, on Aug. 29, 2022.
The lease was recognized as the lease of the year in the Springfield, Missouri, market as part of the 2023 CoStar Impact Awards, which were judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.
The office building, which was built in 2007, was sold by Excel Investments in March 2021 to Andrey and Anna Vakhrushev for an undisclosed price. Its 8,982 square feet is split between MOCAT Adjusters and the Vakhrushevs' Martin Alterations & Tailoring, which lease the remaining 3,982 square feet, according to CoStar data.
