Residential developer Dandara Living has appointed Ashley Dollin to its senior leadership team. She becomes mobilisation manager and will lead on the delivery of a number of sites across the UK.

The firm, which has schemes across the regions including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh, describes Dollin as having "extensive operational experience" which "made her the ideal candidate to spearhead the company's mobilisation team".

She arrives with several years' experience working in the multifamily sector in the US, where she was employed by Northland Investment Corporation between 2011 and 2022. She held the title of operations trainer in her final role with the real estate investment firm based in Newton, Massachusetts.

Dandara Living said its new employee will play a key role at its Granary Quay in Glasgow, a 342-unit build-to-rent scheme on the Clyde waterfront, and will lead the future delivery of a pipeline of 16 further sites nationwide.

Sam Smith, Dandara Living operations director, said in a statement: "[Ashley's] impressive track record and innovative approach to mobilisation will be invaluable as we continue to expand our presence across the UK. Ashley’s leadership and experience will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our ambitious pipeline."

The residential apartment builder has around 3,000 units under management, having entered the build-to-rent sector in 2015. It will launch a purpose-built student accommodation product later this year and is exploring opportunities to provide consultancy and operational services to other development partners.
