The hotel industry is becoming a more mainstream asset class: by demonstrating its resilience and ability to generate revenue growth in a high interest rate environment, the underlying asset is prized by all institutional investors. Admittedly, the sector remains vulnerable to exogenous shocks, but structural changes - climate transition, geopolitical risks - are in its favor. Analysis of all the sector's indicators - hotel industry metrics, appraisal values, investment market transactions and financial market metrics - sends converging signals for optimizing strategies.
