Sigma Capital, the build-to-rent provider, has named JLL stalwart Charlotte Russell as lettings director, to lead on the company’s portfolio in London and the South.

Russell joined the team this month, leaving JLL after 14 years where she held various roles, including London lettings area director. She has more than 20 years of real estate experience.

At Sigma, she will lead on developing lettings strategies for its build-to-rent assets in the South, "overseeing implementation and driving rental activity to ensure a smooth process".

The company added: "A core part of her position will focus on data analysis to curate market insights, alongside managing stakeholder relationships and supporting wider business development activity."

Russell was a lettings negotiator at Cluttons in its London team between 2009 and 2011, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Graham Barnet, CEO at Sigma Capital Group said in a statement: "Charlotte has joined us at a pivotal time for the growth of our lettings team, as we’re delivering more high-quality single-family homes than ever before.

"[She] will be a huge asset for our team as we strive to continue to set high standards for the industry, offering a best-in-class BTR product."
