The latest New Orleans jobs report for March was an unwelcome sign for employment growth as the market lost some 900 jobs in March, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ preliminary numbers. The Crescent City is still down 40,600 jobs from its pre-pandemic employment numbers recorded in February 2020.
