The Arizona Republic newspaper's parent company sold its 10-story office building in downtown Phoenix to local real estate investor and developer ViaWest Properties for $37.7 million, the latest major print news organization to shed real estate while seeking to cut costs and free up cash to reinvest in digital parts of their businesses.
