Cushman hires Chicago multifamily veterans; CBRE adds New York property management head; Invesco Mortgage gets new CEO

Redico, a national real estate development and investment firm based in Southfield, Michigan, promoted Samantha Eckhout to managing director of investments. The firm also hired Matthew Winsryg as senior vice president of development. Eckhout, who has been with Redico for more than 15 years, will lead the investment strategy for its American House Senior Living subsidiary, including sourcing, underwriting, and executing senior housing investment opportunities alongside Redico partners, the company said.

Winsryg will lead day-to-day operations of the American House platform, overseeing new development opportunities, land acquisition and management, alongside capital improvement initiatives across the Redico’s existing portfolio, the firm said.

Cushman & Wakefield said it added Ralph DePasquale and Liam Waters to the group’s Chicago multifamily investment sales team. DePasquale joins as a new managing director, while Waters is a financial analyst.

Both DePasquale and Waters joined Cushman & Wakefield from Berkadia, with DePasquale bringing 37 years of experience to the role and Waters a background in financial analysis and market research.

Los Angeles-based commercial real estate executive and permanent search agency RETS Associates named Sandra Kawahito as a director. She brings over a decade of experience to the role having previously held positions at RealAssets Executive Search and WP Osborne Executive Search.

CBRE chose Chris Masotto to serve as the firm’s property management market leader for the New York, Long Island and Southern Connecticut market. He assumes the position following the promotion of Tom Lloyd to property management northeast division leader. Masotto joined from Cannon Hill Capital Partners. In his new role, he will be responsible or client satisfaction, portfolio growth, financial performance and talent development across CBRE’s regional property management business, the firm said.

National retail real estate consulting firm Bialow Real Estate added Ross Modjeska as a vice president in the firm’s Chicago office. Modjeska previously worked for more than eight years at McCaffery, where he served as the developer’s director of leasing.

Peachtree Group added Mike Morey as executive vice president of its capital markets division. He will lead the firm’s insurance capital markets strategy, and focus his efforts on expanding lender relationships, optimizing capital sourcing and enhancing execution across the company’s investment platform, Peachtree Group said. He joined the firm from The Standard, having held senior roles at its StanCorp Mortgage Investors division.

Invesco Mortgage Capital said it promoted Kevin Collins to serve as the group’s CEO. He succeeds outgoing CEO John Anzalone, who is set to retire April 30 after nine years at the helm. Anzalone will remain in an advisory role through October, Invesco said. Collins has worked at Invesco since 2009, having served as the firm’s president since 2017, and the co-head of the structured investments of Invesco’s fixed income division. The group's other co-head, David Lyle, is set to assume the role of president on Friday.

Jennifer Ott joined SVN The Equity Group as senior vice president. With over 20 years of experience, Ott specializes in retail services for landlords, tenants and investors throughout southern Nevada.
