Downtown San Antonio's hotels experienced an uptick in demand in September following a slump this summer. However, there is moderate growth in travel demand across the larger San Antonio market, similar to other markets in the United States. That demand growth has decelerated from its peak in 2022, and as markets normalize, further deceleration may be expected, which could make it harder for the area’s hotel occupancy to recover.
