Asking rents in San Jose apartment complexes appear to have plateaued in early August, according to the most recent data from CoStar's Daily Asking Rent Series. The San Jose apartment market had seen a robust recovery in 2021 with rents climbing around 10% through mid-September. Still, average apartment rents have yet to fully regain pre-pandemic highs after declining more than 12% in 2020.
