Washington, D.C.-based EastBanc appointed Philippe Lanier as the multinational real estate investment firm’s new CEO. Company founder and Lanier’s father, Anthony Lanier, is set to remain as president with an active role in EastBanc’s office in Lisbon, Portugal.
The younger Lanier joined EastBanc in 2007 following a combined eight years at Lehman Brothers and Bank of America Securities. He will lead the company’s North American portfolio alongside the firm’s existing executive team, whose members have all been with the firm for at least a decade, the company said.
Adam America Real Estate picked David Brickman as its new CEO. He brings over two decades of experience to the New York-based firm with a portfolio that spans over $4.2 billion of multifamily real estate assets in New York, Connecticut, Florida and Texas. Brickman joins from SkyView Cos., and in his new role, Adam America said, he will guide its long-term growth strategy and execution of its investment and development programs.
Leeanne Rizzo has been chosen by Avison Young to lead the brokerage's New England market, including its offices in Boston and Hartford, Connecticut. Based in Boston, she brings more than two decades of experience to the role, having held positions that included leading day-to-day operations and recruitment across the region.
JLL appointed Sarah Norlander as the firm's senior vice president of its national retail leasing team and as part of its 10Twelve platform. Based in Denver, Norlander joins a team focused on curating tenant mixes for high-quality retail properties. She was previously a partner at Mid-America Real Estate Group in Chicago.
CBRE promoted Justin Schultz to vice chair, the brokerage’s highest professional title given to top producers. Schultz, based in the Los Angeles area, leads a team focused on advisory services for complex real estate portfolios, and he counsels them on retail, office and industrial assets. He has been with the company since 2011.
Joey Azar has joined Speros, a 775-acre innovation and cancer care campus north of Tampa, Florida, developed by the Moffit Cancer Center as the organization’s executive director of real estate and capital planning. He co-founded Boaz Ventures, an Alabama-based real estate investment and development firm. Azar will guide the strategic planning and development of Speros, including site and building design, capital planning and construction, the company said.
Houston-based Kirksey Architecture said it launched a strategy and foresight practice, and brought on Ashley Chiarelli to lead the new division. She will be responsible for providing specialized data-driven services allowing clients to make informed architecture and design decisions, according to the firm.
